Appendix A: PI Comments/Explanations and Caveats

The information compiled in this Appendix has been supplied by the PI teams responsible for the data contained in the CDF. Under the heading PI Comments/Explanations, a short description of the CDF parameter(s) from the respective investigation is given, including sufficient details in order that a (scientific) user is able to understand the nature of the parameter and its scientific significance. Under the heading PI Caveats, any known short­comings of the parameters are discussed and, where necessary, warnings about the conditions of validity are given.
