Abstract (draft). A preliminary description is given of a portion of the measurements made by the HISCALE instrument on the Ulysses spacecraft of the March and April solar particle events at ~2.5 AU. The HISCALE instrument provided a detailed description of the low energy ion and electron (>50 keV) fluxes, as well as ion atomic composition, in this region of the heliosphere.
